Every heat matters now... even when the waves don't show up. The Pacific goes flat but a journeyman like Aritz knows how to get'er done, swell or no -- something he proves by methodically dismantling his fellow competitors at the Reef Hawaiian Pro in Haleiwa.<br /><br />When the waves definitively go kaput Aritz gets a week of unscheduled vacation and takes advantage by diving, swimming in waterfalls, body surfing, and even riding a Wavestorm at different spots around Oahu.
